INTRODUCTION
The Victoria Mixed Tactics League is a registered non-profit
society comprising three divisions of mixed men's and women's
teams that play within the Victoria Capital City Region (CRD).
Most divisions boast at least 8 teams of 8-12 players each.
As the name implies, this league plays only the "Tactics"
game, a variation of the traditional "Cricket".
Teams meet at various venues
throughout the area on Monday nights (7:30pm start) and
tournaments and events are staged throughout the regular season
of September through May.
The VMTL owes its popularity and success to its enthusiastic members
who exemplify fun and friendship in a healthy, competitive environment.

THE SEASON
The VMTL season usually starts with a Captain's meeting
on the first Sunday following the Labour Day Long weekend, with
league play commencing on the next Monday evening.
Captains' Meetings have been traditionally held on
the first Sunday of the month at 11:00am. All captains are required
to attend these meetings, and their respective teams are awarded
a point towards their league standings for meeting attendance.
EVERYBODY IS WELCOME!
This league welcomes new teams and players of any
level of experience (minimum age of 19) to join by notifying one
of the Board of Directors by
email or phone preferably before the end of July, so the teams can
be compiled and the play schedule can be prepared in plenty of time
for season start.
VENUES
New venues for league play are welcome, providing
that they are within the CRD area, and their dart area and setup
specifications can meet the requirements as laid out in the VMTL
Bylaws. New teams and prospective venues are encouraged to contact
the board of directors before any commitments are made and/or if
there are any questions regarding venue requirements.
VMTL CONSTITUTION AND BYLAWS
The VMTL Constitution
and Bylaws (which include rules of play) will soon be available
for download in PDF format.
